WHAT THE HELL IS ‘A WAY ABOVE’!?
Alright, easy there, tiger. I’ll explain!! This is the artist speaking :)
And, no. There won’t be a TL;DR. This is raw yapping.
So… AWA is a passion project that I thought about a LONG, LONG time ago. I was a wee lad doodling cool monsters and characters in a foreign world. After watching and reading so many fantasy books, I thought up a vibrant world, continuously expanding. Then I thought of a whole dimension. And then a whole universe. It kinda derailed from there… Now we have A.W.A!
What’s it about, you may ask? Well… it’s not exactly simple. Though I’ll try my best to explain it. (spoiler free, of course. Be patient, you hooligans.)
The story follows Raynelle Simons, a 2-years-held-back high school student living in NYC, interested in marine biology. She’s fascinated with exploration, curious about what could possibly be at the bottom of our oceans. She finds herself at her field trip to the aquarium, coincidentally also on Halloween. She’s dressed up as a funny little devil creature, while her friend- Mike- is a cute little angel. The whole “situation” occurs, and she’s transported to B-200. Now, she must find her way back out. She meets many friends along the way, stopping to defeat foes in fitting ways. She learns the magic of the world, studying new life as she makes her way to THE CASTLE. Her lovely new alien friends need one big favour, then they’ll take her home.
What’s the favour? Oh, nothing. Just to stop THE PRINCE from taking over, enslaving more people to work for him, giving himself power through magic, banishing his siblings, killing those in his way… Nothing Raynelle can’t do, right?

I certainly can’t guarantee an upload schedule, or when I’ll release it at all. Just know- it’s always being worked on in some way.
